But, I'll let you in on a secret: I don't really actually mind the clinginess. I mean, sometimes I can't pick him up right.now.this.minute. because the dishes need to be done, or I've got a full laundry basket in my hands, or I have to, you know, eat. But the rest of the time? I kinda like him on my hip. Sure, it makes things around the house get done slower, or get put off until he's asleep, but I try to remember: Babies don't keep.

My mother had (maybe still has) the last stanza of that poem stitched and it hung in our living room for years! so sweet. :)
Josiah does that to me- and I'm here all day. I think it's a phase. :) some days I like it, some days I don't.
