It seems that we do Christmas cards approximately every-other year, and last year they didn't happen. We've never done a photo card, and I've wanted this year to be our first. It only makes sense- we have a new person to introduce! When I start browsing the Christmas cards, though, I see the birthday invitations, too- maybe I should save the annual photo card for the First Birthday Invites? Or maybe both?
I take a ton of pictures, as you well know, since I regularly bombard the blog with them. What you may not know is, I have very, very few prints of these pictures. It's just in the last couple weeks I've printed any pictures at all of our almost-10-month-old! Bad mommy. (To my credit, I did create a Shutterfly photo book in addition to getting some prints. That should get me some extra credit or something.) A photo Christmas card would serve the dual purpose of wishing loved ones a happy holidays AND getting them a printed picture of our family, which pretty much none of them have.
Now to figure out where and when to get a nice family photo taken...

Our family doesn't really have a card tradition yet. Two Christmases ago, I did a photo card with some cute pictures of Johnny and Shane & I. Last year, didn't do any Christmas cards.
This year I want to do another photo card with the kids. Fun stuff!
