Westbound on the The Old National Road

So, I posted the pictures of Fallingwater, but that was actually the LAST thing we did on our vacation last week. After Monday's adventure, Tuesday held a road trip through three states- Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri- all on the Old National Road, US 40. To say we went through Missouri is barely a fair statement- we didn't exactly vacation in Branson, instead, we just crossed the Mississippi to St Louis and turned back. The Historic National Road route was really neat, and quite an adventure, especially in Illinois, where it took lots of turns off of the US 40 highway through small towns.
