Balloons

One of our nephews had his second birthday this weekend. We went shopping last week and ended up getting him a fishing pole set complete with magnetic fish to catch. This was a hit with all the kids at the party (reportedly, they played with it till dinnertime, which is a attention-span record.) Upon observation, however, I discovered that the only thing an astute and doting family member needs to get any two-year-old is balloons, and this will surely entertain them more than any plastic singing toy.
