The makers of this video asked moms- what would you want to tell yourself on the cusp of becoming a mother, before you had your first child? These are their answers.
Since I'm just months away from being a first-time mom, I'll pretend these are messages sent to the past from the future me.
Thanks to fellow Indy blogger Emily for the video.
What advice would you add?

That video made me cry. (Sleep deprivation!)
I liked "Trust your instincts".
My advice: "Everyone has an opinion. You don't have to listen."
By the way, I now have "A Whole New World" stuck in my head from Aladdin.
that made me cry, too (pregnancy hormones...)
i would say: pray for grace, and pray that God protects your children from your mistakes.
pray for wisdom.
pray a lot.
oh, and:
you're doing a good job.
I am not sleep deprived, pregnant, and do not have plans to have kids in the near future and I cried. It's just a touching, open and honest video.
Enjoy each day with your child and tell him/her you love him every day. Remember, God has a plan for you and it is good.
I'm so excited that you're becoming a mother! I lost track of your blog feed for a while. (We have baby #4 arriving in Jan.)
I would say You Can Do This, because you will find hidden reserves of strength you didn't know you had. Not just for the labor, but for the long nights and frustrations that inevitably come.
You Can Do This!
