Mount Baldy

Mount Baldy, from the beach, looking up.

Descending the mountain.

This was our destination while camping a week and a half ago. It's Indiana's Outer Banks or Waikiki- our only semblance of a beach. Fun fact for the day, from the Great Lakes Shoreline Recreation Area Survey:
Indiana has but 46 miles of frontage on Lake Michigan. This shore is highly industrialized, but the 5.5 miles of fine sand beaches backed by high dunes possess exceptional values to meet the recreation needs of the highly populated region.

Speaking of industralized... this was visible from the beach, too. Kinda remind you of the Simpsons? ;-)
