Illustrating the adventures
First things first: I honor of the announcement of the Gerig Hall Reunion on Ashley's blog, IHOP has honored the generation of Gerigians who have kept the Muncie store in business by announcing a national Free Pancake Day. Now, wherever you are in the country, you can make an IHOP run and appreciate it like a poor college student. The catch: you gotta do it before 10pm, so it won't be an entirely authentic IHOP run.
OK, that's out of the way. Now on to more pictures...
My first attempt at homemade, not-from-a-box brownies yesterday was successful (here's the recipe), and I think they were well-received. My coworkers will be happy to note that there were leftovers, and I will be bringing them in today. The sugar cream pie will happen later in the week.
This was the aforementioned Valentine's dinner consisting of sparkling grape juice, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and marinated & grilled chicken. Yummy. And so romantic.
This is my "Snowed In" picture.
And this is what I did on the day I was snowed in...
In more recent news...
This a jewelry box a coworker brought back for me as a gift after going to India for almost a month. It's a good thing he got it for me, because I was made fun of by my sister last time she was here, because she saw my jewelry box I was using, and threatened to get me another one. I figured, I don't wear jewelry, it doesn't matter what I keep the very few pieces I have in... anyway, this is what the beautifully carved wood box is replacing...
Yeah, I know. Spottie Dottie. It was time.

Hi Jo,
Thought I'd leave a comment here since you may not look back on older posts......tell Josh congrats on his job!!!
And loved your 'engagement' post - isn't it exciting? I did ask your dad how he was going to differentiate the 'Joshes' - call them "Jo's Josh" and "Caroline's Josh" or something to that effect!?!
Happy belated Valentine's Day to you and your sweetie.
