Flower beds are cleaned.
Seeds are started.
Flowers are in bloom.
And I am exhausted.
I felt like I literally spent all weekend outside. And it was a good feeling. The weekend ended with having family over for our first bonfire at the house, for both social and practical reasons- we got to visit with family AND got to burn down some of our seemingly ever-growing pile of dead branches. Not to worry- we have plenty of wood left, and hope to use it up at a spring party inviting everyone we know sometime in the next month or so.

Oh, I meant to tell you, we found another house for sale in the country with a full acre! And what looked to be (courtesy of Google Satellite) a huge garden in back! Your post reminded me. :-)
