A week ago, we wanted to hang out with some friends who we've been having trouble aligning our schedules with. Sunday evening seemed the best time, and they wanted to go see a movie, I Am Legend. We had seen brief preview- something about Will Smith, with his dog, being the last man on earth- and we like Will Smith movies most the time, so it sounded like a good idea. Independence Day & Men In Black were both good fun, and the most recent Will Smith movie we saw- Pursuit of Happyness, was excellent.
Let me just say, I didn't know it was a zombie movie. And I've hated zombie movies since seeing 28 Days Later.
Not only do they give me goosebumps, they make my plasma stand up
AND the tickets were more expensive that the previous time we went to the movies. Sigh.
At least we got free popcorn.

Ooh. I didn't know it was a zombie-movie either. So, although you have posted an enormous spoiler on your blog--I do thank you. Never would have thought that's what it was about!
It's not an ENORMOUS spoiler- all the reviews (that, of course, I read after-the-fact) talk about the zombies, and it is very apparent it is a zombie movie from pretty early on. I'm not giving away an ending or anything :)
Yeah I was reading a review this weekend that talked about it being a zombie movie.
