But as for me...

"But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds." - Psalm 73:28

That verse hit me today in church. For me, it is good to be near God. I need him close, or I can't make it through. That requires me to pursue Him, then rest in His presence. It is necessary to be near God.

I like that phrase, 'but as for me'. It is as if it says, although it may be contrary to what the rest of the world believes, even if I may be ridiculed or times may be hard, I'll stick with this.
