When we ...Seriously, that's what you do... just go. When we were in Georgia a couple summers ago, we were staying with my grandparents, decided it sounded like a good idea to go to Savannah, and we did. We heard Columbus, IN had interesting architecture, so we made a day trip of it, and went on an inexpensive bus tour and learned alot. We always had heard Brown County, IN was beautiful in the fall, so we found a suggested route online & went for a drive.

I do suggest stopping by a visitor's center & picking up a free map and get suggestions on where to visit from the volunteers there. In Savannah, doing that made our trip. We were given a suggested walking route, and it was perfect, and we didn't waste time trying to find the sites or wondering about their significance. Also, looking for these covered bridges would have been hopeless without the tourist map. I love day trips like this- they're fun, educational, and inexpensive compared to most forms of entertainment. They're also more relationship-building than going to a movie.Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12937512054883534573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832486.post-31366278430297366202007-02-13T08:57:00.000-05:002007-02-13T08:57:00.000-05:00That is really cool. We should find some historical sites here and just go...ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10982050095869237882noreply@blogger.com
